The University of Belize's Faculty and Staff Union is demanding that the semester start date be rolled back to September 7th. They are concerned about teaching assignments and workloads that have yet to be settled, about the lack of infrastructure to facilitate the move to online classes, and about uncertainty with regard to the future of units and departments. The Union's overarching complaint remains the lack of true consultation with the University of Belize faculty and staff.
