And as the numbers continue to rise - especially in San Pedro there are many cases that are going undetected due to confirmed community spread.
It started two weeks ago and has slowly branched out to affect communities in every district of the country. And this afternoon during Ask The Experts Dr. Manzanero gave us a rundown on just how the disease left the island.
Notably, last night's COVID results show that there's also a new COVID case showing up in Belmopan, which is related to previously identified cases in the capital city. Manzanero today said he does not believe that Belmopan has community spread at this time.
Also, notably, 10 out the 176 active cases countrywide come from the ranks of health workers, with 6 from the private sector, and 4 from the public sector.
