"What is it like for you all to see these large statistical aberrations?"

"We are though, seeing as you said unfold in almost real time in the data that we produce and publish, how serious this crisis is for the country and I think it brings into very sharp focus the fact that information is very much needed, how important the work that the SIB does. This is not a time for us to, you know, whatever challenges we might have in terms of collecting information, it is not a time for us to slip up, now more than ever, the statistics that we produce are needed, they are needed to know how badly off this crisis is affecting us."
